Not entirely sure how to describe this error, but after updating my Kernel alot of website glitch out, when interacting with specific elements, e.g. if I open an image on discord its basically guaranteed to glitch out, and it will flash and go invisible/visible alot.
Im not really sure what the root cause is, whether its a graphics driver issue, or a kernel issue, and I appreciate its not really much for you guys to work off, but any help would be appreciated

Hi @JDChris100 ,
Have you tried with a different kernel again?
ydar

The info you show isn’t for the latest released kernel version or nvidia driver that’s available in the stable branch.
Kernel should be 6.6.52-1, nvidia should be 550.120-2

So it happened after switching from 6.9.12-3-MANJARO
I tried using 6.10.11-2
and 6.11.0-6
but both of those just gave me a black screen and didnt boot correctly
I also tried it with 6.1.111-1 and it had the same errors. So its possible the kernel change was unrelated?
Quite likely. But as to what,
Apart of telling you to make sure all your .pacnew
files are handled,
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman/Pacnew_and_Pacsave#.pacnew
I have absolutely no idea how to proceed.
Sorry!

@JDChris100 , so you have website glitches, fine. Why don’t you share with us what browser you are using?

Please start your browser without addons/extensions enabled.
If these glitches you describe seem to magically go away , then enable each extension – one at a time (testing each time) – until you find the extension that causes these glitches…
Then remove that extension, and either:
See if removing it, closing/reopening the browser and reinstalling the extension makes any difference; or…
Never install the extension again.
Cheers.

Default Firefox, but it also happens on the Discord app, which I believe is chromium

Sorry, thought I replied to this, this doesnt fix it either.
Honestly, im also getting alot of random other issues, and alot of stuff seems to be broken, so i might try a factory reset and see if that fixes it
