Wake from sleep or screen turn off kills power manager/Artifacting

Whenever my screen locks/turns off or the entire system goes to sleep the power manager service seems to crash. I also have an issue with artifacting on my second screen. It appears to be random color blocking where a section horizontally across the screen is mostly white with some random colors, this flickers mostly randomly, but is more consistent when I move windows around. These don’t always happen, but the power service crashing is more common with the artifacting only happening if the power service crashed. The artifacting has been an issue for as long as I have had the AMD GPU, but it was quite new at the time so I figured it would be resolved at some point through natural updates while the power management issue has been persistent since KDE 6 IIRC.

Both issues are solved by a restart, however I have found that I can fix the power manager service by running:

systemctl restart --user plasma-powerdevil.service

I have only really found
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU#Screen_artifacts_and_frequency_problem
regarding the artifacting, but I am using a kernel version higher than the one listed and the problem persists.

I think I may have solved this. My NVME drive was in a slot that shared resources with the chipset. After switching it to a slot that was directly connected to the CPU I seemed to have resolved this.
