I’ve had surfshark vpn for 3 weeks. Started OK every time then yesterday at boot it keeps asking for the credential password. It rejects the password every time. Even in network manager if I add the password for all users it is still rejected. After pulling out a lot of hair I found a fix for linux (hopefully) here.
Disabling IPv6 seems to have “fixed” it. Rebooted 10 times without an issue.
Again I kept having the same issue. I’m running xfce.
Seems the issue is something to do with ‘networkmanager’. That was what was asking for the password even tough it was set for all users. As a work around I disabled auto connect in surfshark.
Now I boot up. Wait a few seconds then connect surfshark. Connects straight away. No issues.
Don’t believe it. Five minutes after posting the above the password prompt started again. Ahhhhhh.
