VLC crashes when trying to load a video file mp4/mov

Hey,
I’m having the issue that I can’t playback any videos with VLC and I dont understand the error message
Any ideas?

Could this be fixed by "in VLC change Preferences > Video > Output from “Automatic” to “VDPAU” according to [Stable Update] 2023-02-20 - Kernels, GNOME, NetworkManager, KDE Frameworks, Firefox - #2 by philm ?
