VirtualBox crashes the host system with kernel 58, works fine with kernel 54

With the new kernel, VirtualBox causes the host system to freeze completely when there is some IO activity in the guest system (for example, actual installation). Without IO activity, it can run run for hours no problem. After the host system is frozen, only a power reset can get it to live.
This does not happen with the same installation if using the LTS kernel.
Anybody has ideas why?

PC config:

it’s known to not working with kernel 5.8 at the moment
waiting update virtualbox for linux58 ( first unstable or testing )

Seems it is fixed now with the latest testing update. Should hit stable soon.
