Virtual Machine Manager cannot connect to my one VM

Okay after figuring out my problem of no YouTube playback and no audio(conflict of wireplumber and pipewire-media-session → it not being installed then), i also found out my Virtual Machine Manager cannot connect to my one VM, it says:

Unable to connect to libvirt qemu:///system.

Verify that the 'libvirtd' daemon is running.

Libvirt URI is: qemu:///system

Traceback (most recent call last):

I don’t know how to fix this.

Does that socket exist?
Also check:

I only recently migrated to Linux, so i don’t know much, but i tried to start libvirtd service via systemctl start libvirtd.service, and then checked it’s status and it told me it failed, i also get the #failed status at shutdown/restart.

Here is the terminal log from systemctl status libvirtd:

systemctl status libvirtd                                                                                                    ✔

I don’t know, i finally managed to get my Win 10 VM to have internet just a few days before the update, i didn’t do anything afterwards.

Tip: When pasting terminal output on Discourse forums, one can either…

  • Use the Preformatted text </> toolbar button–NOT the Quote " button.

  • Add three backticks ` above and below the text (Markdown):

    ```
    type or paste code here
    ```

  • Use HTML:

    <pre><code>
    type or paste code here
    </pre></code>

I’ve done it for you this time. :wink:

I have the same issue.

I installed Virtual Machine Manager to test it as alternative to VirtualBox, but different from VirtualBox that worked just out of the box, the Virtual Machine Manager is presenting the socket error. The version I installed was from official REPO version 3.2.0 and I’m using Manjaro KDE Stable.
