My work around is I delete the ~/.ViberPC folder. It works again but this is tedious. I have to login and re-sync my mobile phone all over again.
is there a way that I can fix this?
Find the reason why that folder you delete is getting corrupted and as result makes Viber not usable. Start Viber from terminal and read the errors you get.
I delete now the .viberPC/ folder and run viber -v on the terminal but it doesn’t show what’s happening.
Right, so then Viber starts now and you can use it without issues?
