Very slow internet after installing manjaro

I recently started using Linux and chose Manjaro to start, however I am facing a problem regarding the internet network, networkmanager does not allow me to change the adapter speed to anything higher than 10Mbit/s and if I change the network it simply disconnects and does not work more, there must be some configuration that I’m missing.

defaults are usually o.k.
if they are not - and you can’t figure out the reason, asking other people to help instead -
give them something to work with.

What do you do?
and
Unless you KNOW it is not the cable that causes the issue - try a different cable.

it’s definitely not the cable, it was working normally before installing Manjaro.
I believe it is some network configuration that hangs at 10mbit/s, is there any file that has any configuration related to this?
I’m searching but I’m having a little trouble finding it.

Please ignore any typing errors, I don’t speak English and I’m using the translator

perhaps there is an alternate driver for your network card

How do you know that?

EOL kernel.

Out of date BIOS.

So are we talking about this ethernet connection?

I used Windows, and it worked normally

yes, that’s the connection

Windows drivers are available and work - might not be the case for a Linux environment.

Hardware problem. Either cable or router or 6 years out-of-date BIOS.

That chipset is very common on AMD motherboards including my own and it works perfectly out-of-the box at 1000 Mbps.

Device-1: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
    vendor: Micro-Star MSI driver: r8169 v: kernel pcie: gen: 1 speed: 2.5 GT/s
    lanes: 1 port: e000 bus-ID: 04:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:8168 class-ID: 0200
IF: enp4s0 state: up speed: 1000 Mbps duplex: full mac: <filter>

As @cscs mentioned already: First install an up-to-date kernel, such as 6.6 incl. headers:

sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux66
sudo pacman -S linux66-headers

Then fully update your system by

sudo pacman-mirrors -f && sudo pacman -Syyu

Then reboot.

If the issue persists you could try another driver:

sudo mhwd -i pci linux66-r8168
sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-r8169.conf <<< 'blacklist r8169'

and reboot.
