If I connect my Android phone via USB to the laptop, enable file transfer on the phone I can start copying files via Dolphin to the phone. However, each times the USB connection stops working after 2-3 minutes.
I tried different USB ports on the laptop and different files to transfer with no luck.
Any ideas what might be going wrong?
Your phone has to be on, so maybe it’s just going to sleep?
I 've added app called Screen Alive for setting how long to keep the screen from going off.
Many thanks for the hints but unfortunately that’s not the root cause of the USB connection dropping. I just tried it again explicitely making sure the phone and desktop are turned on and it dropped again after a minute or so.
Bad cable? The USB-C fits loose in my phone, and comes disconnected with the slightest touch.
