USB-C DisplayPort 1.2 Compatability?

Does Manjaro support DP 1.2 alt mode out of the box? I am attempting to use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter but the monitor does not appear when I run “xrandr --current”. The laptop specifications say that the device supports DP 1.2 alt mode. My kernel version is 5.9.16-1-MANJARO.

Please post the output of inxi -Gazy and mhwd -li.

Warning: No installed USB configs!

Both commands were run with the USB-C display adapter connected.

Please run sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300, then if it succeeded, reboot; and post the output of inxi -Gazy and xrandr -q then.

Interestingly, it seems the NVIDIA Xorg driver is not loaded. Can you post the output of pacman -Q | grep nvidia and mhwd -li?

Any ideas?

Please remove (back up) /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-displaylink.conf, and then create /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-intel-nvidia.conf:
