Good morning.
I experience strange behaviour of my Asus MB196C+ external Display connected to a Huawei Matebook 16".
First it simply didn’t work at all, just white blinking monitor led, not displaying anything. I went on to do other work leaving it connected. After several hours it suddenly switched on and worked like nothing had happened for hours. When i disconnected the monitor, shut down the laptop and reconnected the next morning, again nothing. After several hours it switched on, showed the Asus logo and then went to standby (orange led). I left it that way for some time, then disconnected it and reconnected again - white blinking led, nothing on the display until now.
The monitor is connected via USB-C alternate DP using the cable that shipped with the display.
My laptop definitely supports alternate mode and the display works fine on other machines (as mentioned, it occasionally worked on my machine)
I run the latest KDE.
Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!
