Recently formatted a 128 GB Kexin USB to be multiboot via Ventoy, in the middle of a copy thunar closed and the USB has been unmountable/recognizable by any OS.
It refuses to show up in GParted, in disk manager (On windows).
It shows up in LSBLK for about 60 seconds then disappears as if it was kicked out or ejected by the host.

EDIT: tried wiping the device in terminal with
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdd bs=1k count=2048
It now shows up as a 2MB device in GParted.
EDIT: Its probably too late for me to be working on this because I just realized that the previous command would just create the file in /dev, which is what happened.
this is also why GParted could see it.
