Try this first… 
Then make sure you fully update your system, but do it from a tty while completely logged out of the GUI environment.
sudo pacman-mirrors -f && sudo pacman -Fy && sudo pacman -Syyu
pamac checkupdates --force-refresh
Be sure to let the above commands finish. Do not interrupt the update process.
