Yesterday I upgraded my system via pacman -Syu
today when booting up I landed in light-dm. The i3 didn’t start up, after some troubleshooting I found these logs:
[+0.15s] DEBUG: Seat seat0: Failed to find session configuration i3
[+0.15s] DEBUG: Seat seat0: Can't find session 'i3'
So I was weirded out, as I am using this system with i3 exclusively since 3-4 years.
turned out me installing i3-wm did actually fix this issue, I am having a session again.
pacman -S i3-wm
Wanted to post this as some might run into the same Issue.
