RX 9070 is in the same family as R9700 and I have no issues with the GPU.
I have been using 6.18, 7.0, 7.1 and currently 7.2.0rc2-1.
There was one short lived issue - discovered by hitting F11 by accident on a Konsole window and the text would display garbled - that issue has gone away - just checked
