Unreal Engine test screen

I realize on two games on steam that where I should see a Video,
there is a test screen from Unreal Engine showing.

The first game was in “Undecember”, the in game trailers works fine but at trying to run the “Rune skill example video” there was only the test screen showing.

And now trying out “Traha Global” I get the same test screen layout showing at the login screen.

Any solution for this?

both game are not recommended…

Always look first here: https://www.protondb.com/

There is also a GUI to install Proton-GE for Steam: ProtonUp-Qt

The test screen means you can’t play the video, I used to install the Media Fundation patch for Proton but in theory this is not really needed anymore.

Make sure to select the Proton 8 version in Steam Settings.

Thanks for that information.

The most games only work’s on Proton 6.3 and 7
Proton 8 never worked with any games on my machine so far.
