Just did a reboot and no matter what I choose in the display settings, my two main monitors insists on being mirrored, with my laptop screen being blanked. This was working perfectly for weeks (laptop blank, two non-mirrored monitors) before I rebooted. I’m using a Lenovo Thunderbolt docking station with my Thinkpad P15v Gen3.
I go to the “Display” app, deactivate my laptop screen, uncheck Mirror Displays, the dialogue asking if I want to keep this configuration pops up, obviously without anything happening. If I try to enable the laptop screen as well, the monitors blank for a moment before the dual monitors act as one mirrored monitor, sharing the desktop with the laptop monitor for a few seconds, before it reverts and turns off the laptop monitor.
I am slowly losing both my mind and patience with this, I have work to do. It is frankly a few too many times where rebooting will surprise me in some completely random way. Please help me understand what is happening and how to keep it from ever happening again. I don’t want any more of these rugpulls…
