I am brand new to Linux. I just installed Manjaro KDE with no issues via virtualbox with my main OS being MacOS 10.13 High Sierra. However, after installation, there were 78 updates which also updated with no issues. However, everytime I open virtualbox to start Manjaro, the same 78 updates show up all over again. Why is this happening or the better question is how do I get Manjaro to recognize that I already performed the update? Or is this a virtualbox issue?
You have forgotten to ‘eject’ the ISO from the virtual machine - thus starting the ISO image everytime you load the vm.
