When I “Configure Desktop and Wallpaper”, the “Wallpaper” section is blank, as shown in the screenshot.
Do you see any errors in your journal?
Do you have mixed in any of the kde *-git packages? Replace those with their non -git counterparts.
Did you try any of the configuration related troubleshooting ?

Thanks for the reply. It was due to mixing non-git packages with git packages, as you suggested. It is now fixed.
