Hi, newbie here, trying to change my theme, I started out by making a new theme folder copying one of the default themes and downloading some gtk themes and icons, I’m using Nordic-darker as the gtk theme and it works perfectly, the problem comes with updating the icons, i put the icon theme (candy-icons) in ~/.local/share/icons, ~/.icons and even in /usr/share/icons and then tried updating the config, but nothing seems to work: PCManFM-Qt remains on the default icon theme, even trying to update to other icons (Papirus for example) doesn’t seem to work.
You already know that PCManFM-Qt
uses the QT framework, while the original PCManFM
uses the GTK framework. Right? There is also a GTK3 version. However, a QT application doesn’t search for GTK themes. I guess you can use kvantum
for QT.
