I have a canon pixma mg3051 printer scanner
While I’m able to print I’m not able to see my scanner in Skanlite
Tried to install scangearmp2 but the build fails

AUR packages are not maintained by Manjaro team, so there is no official support. Usually, cause is missing update of the AUR package maintainer.
Just as upstream Arch Linux - the use of AUR is unsupported.
You are supposed to know how to troubleshoot a PKGBUILD script.
If you have issues with a custom script use the AUR page for info.
I don’t know where you got the source code for building that driver, but there is a complete package in the AUR for all models in that printer/scanner family.
