Type password on lockscreen without pressing user?

Hi everyone,

I’m newly switched over from Debian based distros and loving Manjaro so far.

I’m just wondering since I’m running Manjaro Gnome, is there some way to just start typing on my lockscreen without me having to press the user picture first(or hit enter)?
Coming from Ubuntu 20.04 I’m pretty used to just start typing my password once it was booted and the lockscreen would pick up on that automatically. This doesn’t seem to be the case with Manjaro’s lockscreen and I wouldn’t know what to change to be able to get that to work.

Thanks in advance!

I think I figured it out. It has to do with the first startup versus going to lockscreen while OS is running.
After locking it I can just type to immediately put in my password but it’s just on the first login I need to actually click the user before putting it in.
