So I installed the video-linux drivers on my laptop but now it’s just a black screen. I followed the steps here in another forum but for some reason tty2 tells me my password is incorrect. Is there any way to recover it or do I have to reinstall?
Run passwd your_username as root and type a new password OR boot a live session and chroot into your local installation and run the same command.
What is your graphics card? Kernel?
