Trouble configuring hibernation

Hello to all lovers of computer hardware and codes. I am a regular user who has decided to change from Windows to Linux. I have a serious problem: I cannot configure hibernation. This applies both to the swapfile I tried to use and the partition that I already created automatically. After all the attempts, I chose to install the system with automatic disk partitioning. In this case, you can turn on the ready-made hibernation. It happens to me like this: when I turn it off for verification, the system is restored without problems. For a short time, a few hours, too, no problem. If I turn it off until the next day, a black screen and a stationary cursor appear, Caps Lock may blink at the same time. We have to cut down the laptop with the power button.
Here’s what I have:

/etc/default/grub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = “quiet apparmor = 1 security = apparmor resume = UUID = a1c1057d-8a94-4068-a828-20733fce823c udev.log_priority = 3”

/etc/mkinitcpio.conf:

HOOKS = “base udev autodetect modconf block keyboard keymap resume filesystems”

/ etc / fstab:

UUID = a1c1057d-8a94-4068-a828-20733fce823c swap swap defaults, noatime 0 2

$ inxi --full --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host

I would be grateful for your help, because the problem is critical for me. I’ll have to ditch Manjaro if it doesn’t fix it. It’s a pity the time spent on mastering the system, especially since I like it.
I apologize for the automatic translation if something is not clear.

Hello @ost_ld !

A question to verify: Are you really using hibernation or just suspend?

Please try these commands:

systemctl suspend

and

systemctl hibernate

The configs are looking good so far, but some systems, idk why (at least on my workstation i need this, otherwise it didn’t work), need to put resume after udev like that:

HOOKS=“base udev resume ...”

then run:

sudo mkinitcpio -P

Yes, I am using hibernation. I use Suspend when I close the lid of the laptop during the day, and at night I turn it off and save the state to disk.

systemctl suspend worked as expected, but systemctl hibernate did not. The same thing happened: Caps Lock flashes and there is no reaction to my actions, but at the same time the screen of the state that was before the shutdown came on. I have not had this before, and only a black screen appeared.

Previously, I already set resume after udev according to the instructions on arch.wiki, and in this form the line appeared after the automatic installation, that is, when the swap partition and hibernation were made by Calamaries himself.

But I did it again on your advice and changed the words. Booted fine. However, I cannot say if the problem is solved, because I need to check it for a while. As I said, I checked the hibernation without problems, but after a significant amount of time the state did not recover.

Unfortunately, the problem still remains. My laptop with the flashing Caps Lock failed to turn on again. Is there anything else you can do to help?

I don’t know if this will be useful: when I update grub I always have this: usr / bin / grub-probe: warning: unknown device type nvme0n1

For testing, I put the system on another disk (HDD), transferred / home, and my problem disappeared. Any idea what this means?
