TPM2-TSS-related `.json.pacnew` files

Seeing the announcement for the UPdate 2026-09-07 I checked

$ pacdiff -o
/etc/tpm2-tss/fapi-profiles/P_ECCP384SHA384.json.pacnew
/etc/tpm2-tss/fapi-profiles/P_RSA3072SHA384.json.pacnew

and this without having that UPdate done. Should I

overwrite the existing .json files with the .json.pacnew files.

in advance to the UPdate or should I UPdate first?

If you already have the pacnew files, you updated in the meantime. For this package and instance, it is safe to fully accept the pacnew files as shown in the announcement.

I did not run this UPdate so far; so I checked my manjaro-release and have 26.1.1-1 and not 26.1.2-1 which comes with the UPdate.
SO: Overwrte now or later?
