Can we use the pinephone’s modem 4G or Wifi to create nodes similar to short wave radio systems to communicate without the internet? Nodes would relay bandwidth between each other and thus provide totally decentralized long distance communication. Some nodes would be super nodes with internet connection sharing. This would be great in local communities without good internet access or no internet at all or even states with deep internet censorship. The more people would connect, the further we would be able to reach each other by relaying connections from node to node to node. Please feel free to discuss and share ideas.
