Nvidia driver 390 error

I need help when I click the “install proprietary drivers” button, the intel nvidia driver is installed and only the Intel graphics on bumblebee are used. When I try to remove it and install the driver for nvidia “nvidia 390”, I reboot and the system does not turn on.
using inxi in a terminal or in console

Welcome to Manjaro! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  1. Please read the information behind this link. It will help you to post necessary information.
  1. Please press the three dots below your post and then press the :pencil2:
  • If you give us information about your system, we can see what we’re talking about and make better suggestions.
  • You can do this by using inxi in a terminal or in console.
sudo inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width
  • Personally identifiable information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses are filtered out by this command
  • Presenting the information in this way allows everyone to be familiar with the format and quickly find the items they need without missing anything.
  1. Copy the output from inxi (including the command) and paste it into your post.
  • To make it more readable, add 3 backticks ``` on an extra line before and after the pasted text.

Have you already :mag: for your problem in the forum ? (Wisdom lies in asking → listening → reading  )

Google — ваш друг и переведет его для вас.

You have a hybrid system.
With an iGPU (intel) and a dGPU (nvidia).

The nvidia profile just is not correct for your system.

Please see this in general:

And you can show us about mhwd

mhwd -li -l

But from your description and info … it appears its quite old so using the older bumblebee implementation. So video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-390xx-bumblebee profile.

Basically you can test it with these commands

glxinfo | grep 'renderer string'
optirun glxinfo | grep 'renderer string'
primusrun glxinfo | grep 'renderer string'

Please don’t create duplicate topics. Your first post in the Pусской section of Languages was posted in English, so I’ve merged them and moved it to Graphics & Display.

mhwd -li -l  ✔

Seems to be working.
Whenever you want to use the nvidia you can call it with primusrun.

In the case of steam do not launch steam itself this way, but edit a game launch options to:

primusrun %command%
