У Opera не работает кнопка свернуть. Хотел снести полностью, затем заново скачать. Выполнил pacman -Rscun opera и pacman -Sc, почистил в home, в config, cache, local, где нашёл её. Заново скачал, открыл, а она даже вкладки последние восстановила. Какая была, такая и осталась.
rm -rf ~/.config/opera
and
rm -rf ~/.cache/opera
should be all that is needed
to get a fresh start

Действительно, очень раздражает.
Для меня это было исправлено Оперой 84.0.4316.14, которая сейчас находится в Тестировании (ветка, которую я использую).
Кстати, это обновление удалило мою конфигурацию. Раньше со мной такого не случалось.

If you did this, your configuration will certainly have been removed.
A program update actually will not and can not do that - as only the program itself will be new, but your configuration (in your $HOME)
which is this:
~/.config/opera
will not be touched by any update.
The OP wanted a fresh start - that is why I recommended this.
Well, it did on this update. And of course a program installation/update can choose to delete a current config, or other things. Not very common, but possible.
He already did - removed his config, cache and other things - see his OP.

I know - he said:

but having interacted with many users here, I didn’t take this at face value
and recommended a command that would ensure that the task would be done.
If you have the latest opera package still in your package cache - which is likely - then you can check for yourself what it contains and what files where touched, modified, overwritten … when it was installed.
… nothing inside your $HOME will be there, I’m very sure about that
