To change a specific window setting

Good afternoon,
When I drag a window to close to the top of the screen it blows up to full screen. I find this highly presumptive and would like to restrain my windows from determining their size. I have the window manager tweaks open but am unsure how to proceed here or how to research this further because I don’t know the name of this bug.

Settings > Window Manager > Advanced > Window Snapping

You need to disable window tiling.

I unselected the option “automatically tile windows” to solve the issue.
