Tints? To help with vision issues

You know like how you can get tinted glasses for Vision issues, does KDE haww any options to put a colored tint over the screen?

Not in that sense, no, but you could play around with the night light feature… :point_down:

System Settings → Colors & Themes → Night Light

… which should alter the color temperature, or you could head out to a computer store and buy one of those filter screens to put in front of your monitor. :man_shrugging:

@Edward78

We could set the color temperature uniformly in the monitor’s OSD settings, regardless of the OS or desktop. That’s what I do. It seems like it would be pretty difficult to do, taking into account individual preferences, physical differences, aging, etc.

For a while, I used polarized sunglasses. :sunglasses:

Ah, @Edward78, here’s (:point_up:) another use for your ddcui, then. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have heard AUR apps can brake Maanjaro, a little ify on downloading something from it.

Yes, and crossing the street can get you run over by a car. :roll_eyes:

I have loads of AUR stuff installed here on my system. :point_down:

You just have to be a little careful, that’s all.

Indeed.

You could also open System Settings → Accessibility → Color Blindness Correction & play around with the settings to weaken some colors and strengthen others:
