Timeshift Autosnap and updates errors

Just had the issue with the last update.
The update crashed (when installing the wine update package) then the “post install hooks” were not launched.
As the kernel was already updated (6.14 deleted and 6.15 installed, but grub were not synced by the post install hooks, i found myself unable to boot back in Manjaro when i rebooted (i was glad i had BTRFS and Timeshift to boot to the previous save point and restore it  )

As “Timeshift-autosnap-manjaro” makes a save point before applying important updates, would it be possible to make the script to automatically restore the system back to that save point in case of update crash or ends with an error ?

It would perhaps prevent the risk of not being unable to book back to Manjaro in case of faulty update?

When you are beyond a default Manjaro installation - there is no way to make a sync execute flawless.

Sorry, i don’t get it… the script does a snapshot before pamac updates packages, why is it not possible that it does a restore of that same snapshot if pamac returns with an error (sorry i’m not fully aware on how it internally works)?
