Thunderbird default address book

Hey Thunderbird users!

I’d like to set my carddav address book as the default AB to add new contacts to, but it doesn’t seem to be possible. Regardless of the settings I tried, clicking the star always adds contacts to “Personal Address Book” - and I have to click again to edit / move them to the right place.

Anyone know a workaround to this?

I am trying the same, you can set the pref
ldap_2.servers.pab.filename to the filename of your cardav addressbook, but sadly the “add to addressbook” button is hardcoded; There is a bug report here:
