Thumbnails fail to generate

Hello There,

i've been a casual linux user, i switched to manjaro yesterday so the issues i face are:-
the image thumbnails don't seem to load, i did search the forum like the good forum user i am, but i was unable to find a duplicate thread. apologies in advance if i missed it.

Do you mean "show previews" in Dolphin?

where do you find that?

In dolphin (the file manager / folder explorer) setting on the top right corner.

The exact issue i face is thumbnails for things like Desktop wallpapers, widgets and things on panel don't load, the icons in case of panel.
