When my Thinkpad T14G3 boots up, it works completely normally until it goes to sleep. When it’s asleep it correctly disable the keyboard backlight, indicator lights (caps lock, mute, mic mute) and the power light slowly flashes.
The problem comes in upon waking up, the powerlight is still flashing slowly as if it was asleep, and the backlight and indicator lights no longer function. This leads me to believe that part of the system still thinks it’s in sleep mode and does not operate these functions. The keyboard works normally, and the power button works normally despite the system being inconsistent.
Please provide the output of:

It seems to be similar to this issue
I’m running KDE Plasma (only) with the latest stable branch Manjaro.
The ThinkPad comes with a few button LEDs (like for CapsLock, FnLock, Sound Mute and similar) which do work perfectly fine when doing a clean boot of the system. There is also a power LED on the right side that stays on permanently when the system is running and in some kind of “breathing” mode when the system is in standby mode.
There’s also a keyboard backlight, which can be adjust in three steps (0%, 50%, 100%) using the F…
I have changed the sleep state to S3 and that has fixed it in the interim, though I would like to get back to s2idle if possible.
