They just pop back when moved, on the panel?

When I move the dig. clock & system tray on the panel they just pop back to where I moved them from.

You did enter Edit mode right?

Right-click on the panel, and select it if not:

Then you haven’t moved them far enough. The task manager widget by default fills up all empty space, so you have to move the clock to beyond the other widgets (of which I’m assuming the task manager widget would be the one that’s in the way).

I find T&A is important.

I suppose I should clarify… Trial & Error…
