I have Intel and yes it is new enough to benefit from Thermald. BUt I installed Thermald and I really don’t see any lower temps. I don’t have a temp problem and maybe that is why I don’t see a benefit but I thought that maybe I would see a drop in my normal temps.
The only script I see is in the Thermald directory which describes the methods of control. I’d like to see some simple scripts that do things like - example increase fan speed at 68C or others to play around with.
If there is no benefit using Thermald I’ll just remove it because I don’t like having things installed, taking up space, that don’t do anything.
