The update manager downloads the updates, but does not install them

Hi,

Running Manjaro KDE.
I saw there was a new [Testing Update] and tried to download and install.
Issue is that the update manager downloads the updates, but does not install them?

Any ideas?
(this is a mission critical desktop)

Check your Pamac settings, and/or update from the command line…

pamac update

Are you asking if the updates installed, or you confirmed that nothing was installed?

(If so), is this the first time this happened?

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question; did you let it sit awhile after the download? If it’s large it’ll sometimes take awhile before the installation begins or between stages.
