The time is showing incorrectly for arabic locale (tunis time zone)

Screenshot From 2025-07-02 19-53-02

the time is flipped (minutes then hours). this happened after a latest update.
my system language is english, but I’m in tunisia, so the system is using an arabic locale.

here is “inxi -zv8” output:

Aslema 5ouya from La Marsa. The minimum info people will need to help you is the output of

inxi -zv8

…is now in the first post.

Thanks @MohamedGabtni for doing that! :+1:

I’m sorry, but is your response sarcastic ?
I just thought that it was ok.
I can edit the post that is after “6x12” post, if that is possible.
I’m sorry

No, sir. It was genuine. I appreciated you making the edits.

No need to apologize for anything.

Hey there.

At Gnome Environment, in the Settings > System > Region & Language > there are two options Language and Formats. Please check if Formats is in English. There will be “United States” and “United Kingdom” too among others.

:vulcan_salute:

yes, already English

Have you tried switching Formats to “UK English”?

i changed it to UK (english), and it fixed it. then I changed it to US (english) and it retained the fix.

Screenshot From 2025-07-03 16-27-55

should i make a issue report of the arabic time formal bug ?

It would help others, I guess.
