Changing Kernels doesnt change the result.
Hope someone will help, I am really starting to worry

Hi @LJ1319,

AFAIK a S.M.A.R.T. test is a test of the drive’s integrity and doesn’t have anything to do with the data on it. It gives your warning that something is about to go wrong, that the drive’s itegrity has been compromised. And while I’m no expert, this

is kind of worrying to me. I’d replace the drive ASAP if I were in your shoes.

Hope this helps!

(Also, AFAIK the S.M.A.R.T. test is per drive, and not per partition. So running it once per Drive is fine, and it’s not necessary to run for every partition.)

I’d add that using said drive, moreover by writing on it, may accelerate the wear.
Considering you have your system on it, my recommendation would be to use it as little as possible until you can replace the drive. Not doing any superuser action (like updating) might prevent some wear, but the system still writes logs whenever active.

Seems to be no good old german Wertarbeit - better change to WD or Samsung?
