The notebook turns on and off with the lid closed

I realize this is happening because I hear the cooler turning on and off, as if it never hibernated (or suspended).

I dont try nothing because i dont know how to approach this. I dont know how to search about this.
I already tell how this happens… i close the lid, then the cooler first turn off and after some seconds go on again, and after some other seconds, go off again and repeat.
I dont have more information.

Welcome to Manjaro! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  1. Please read the information behind this link. It will help you to post necessary information.

[HowTo] Provide System Information

  1. Please press the three dots below your post and then press the :pencil2:
  • If you give us information about your system, we can see what we’re talking about and make better suggestions.
  • You can do this by using inxi in a terminal or in console.
sudo inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width
  • Personally identifiable information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses are filtered out by this command
  • Presenting the information in this way allows everyone to be familiar with the format and quickly find the items they need without missing anything.
  1. Copy the output from inxi (including the command) and paste it into your post.
  • To make it more readable, add 3 backticks ``` on an extra line before and after the pasted text.

(Wisdom lies in reading  )

hi. I edited the post! Thanks!

Thanks for including more information. Specifically, including a more detailed description of the problem like you did in your second post helps quite a bit.

  • Is your computer set to sleep/suspend when closed, or hibernate?
  • Try activating this mode without closing the computer (using a menu or systemctl or the like). What happens?
  • When your cooler is turning on and off, does the computer feel hot? Did it feel hot before you closed it, or did it only heat up afterwards?
