The KDE desktop does not load properly

Hi
I am on the LTS version and instead of my normal desktop with icons I got an empty desktop.
Bottom line is that after a minute or so the icons are showing up for a brief moment it switches to a black screen and back to the image.
The F12 button also not working
Edit: I somehow managed to start the console and my web browser, but the issue stands

This is possibly a damaged configuration file.

Using CtrlAltF4 you can switch to a TTY

  • enter your username and press ↲
  • enter your password and press ↲

Clone the plasma reset script

git clone https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/manjaro-plasma-reset.git

After cloning - run the script

bash manjaro-plasma-reset/manjaro-plasma-reset.sh
