The brightness slider does not appear after boot - Gnome 48

Hi,

After the update to GNOME 48, the brightness control slider below the volume slider does not appear. After pressing the Fn keys, it appears immediately. This behavior is the same as on my second laptop.

This is a know issue. There is no fix at the moment, except to use the keys to change the brightness for the first time. After this the slider should appear.
