Yes, that’s the way GNOME works by default. The dash only appears in the Overview.
If you want the dash docked, enable the Dash to Dock extension (gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-dock
) in the Extensions application. You can also switch between different custom layouts via gnome-layout-switcher
.
Everything I mentioned is installed by default on the main ISO, however if you used the minimal ISO you will need to install the aforementioned programs manually.
