I would like to thank Manjaro developers & contributors for the great job they’re doing.
I switched from Fedora to Manjaro KDE recently and the experience is great so far.
I particularly liked:
- Access to AUR where you can find mostly anything you can think of
- Pacman, that works much faster than
dnf - Latest software from KDE Gear without need for enabling the third-party repositories
- I tried
zsh, as it was the default shell in Manjaro, and now I want to stick with it:) - Matray app is just cute
- Pamac is pretty good alternative to Discover for graphically managing the software
- Switching between the integrated and discrete graphics is much easier on Manjaro thanks to optimus-manager
Thank you for creating so flexible and yet beginner friendly OS, as well as ecosystem and friendly community around it. I believe you’re doing the right thing!
