Terminal doesn't show username anymore?

My terminal used to have ben@Yoga13ManjaroGnome >>>
but now it only shows as Yoga13ManjaroGnome% and I’m not sure what happened. I would like it to look like what the ranger file manager shows with my username. I am using the gnome-terminal-fedora package from official repos.

prompt changes in .bashrc or .zshrc ?

My .zshrc is as shown:

# Lines configured by zsh-newuser-install
HISTFILE=~/.histfile
HISTSIZE=1000
SAVEHIST=1000
bindkey -e
# End of lines configured by zsh-newuser-install
# The following lines were added by compinstall
zstyle :compinstall filename '/home/ben/.zshrc'

autoload -Uz compinit
compinit
# End of lines added by compinstall

Do you know what should I change or add (sorry, I don’t have much experience with terminal shells)?

Don’t know what to say about that .zshrc file you shared, but seems truncated …

Thank you, replacing my file with this one makes it look like it used to, I removed the neofetch on start though because that seemed unnecessary. I have been screwing around with the drive that /home is located on so probably deleted the original file by mistake.

Glad you sort it out! :slight_smile:
Enjoy Manjaro!
