Telegram-desktop crashes constantly

Telegram-desktop version 2.3 on a Pinebook Pro running 5.8.3-2-MANJARO-ARM. Bug reported here.

Yeah, stickers seem to be an issue with Telegram on ARM. :frowning:

I remember reading on the Pine64 forum that there was a patch by Icenowy.
But no idea if it works or where the source code is.

Somewhat related: Anyone got an idea why the microphone of the Pinebook Pro doesn’t work on Telegram? It even seems to be getting activated given the bottom right statusbar indicator, but no sound is transmitted in voice calls.

(I checked and my privacy switch for the microphone is turned on)

The issue where stickers crash telegram appears to have been fixed in version 2.4.7-2, which is in the testing branch.
