I just opened my PC one day and the task bar was missing. Rebooting, killing and restarting plasmashell, changing themes and plasma style didnt fix this
The task bar is only an applet on the panel. It is possible that you accidentally deleted it.
Unlock your widgets by right-clicking the desktop and choose “Customize Layout”. Then, right-click the panel and choose “Add widgets”. You can add either an icons-only task bar or a full task bar.
When you’re done, right-click the desktop again and choose “End Customizing Layout”, or whatever it’s called.
Thanks a lot! I’ll definetely do this, even though I’m sure I didn’t delete it as I only use a controller (to play emulated games)
