Hi there, the subject is relevant again.
1.62 is available for about two months, 1.64 for two weeks, and we’re still using 1.60 on stable branch…

Didn’t find description of a package release process. Could someone give a link or explain in a few words, who and how decide on when a package is tested enough? How can I help if I’m not going to switch my entire system to testing? I already use a new version of a package on VPS where it works good, and since it’s a binary linked to linux-vdso.so and libc.so only, I think it’s not gonna break.

you are on the Stable Branch and that is why! if you’d like the latest and greatest software then unstable is for you, if you’d also like it help improve manjaro and make it better for everyone, testing is also for you, as people who run on the testing branch can test the newer software on different hardware that way it can be ready for stable when that time comes
