System Tray pop ups displaying xml/html on cursor hover

When using clementine music player. Hovering the mouse over the clementine icon in the system tray the pop up shows xml/html code instead of track information and cover art. Using the lastest kde and clementine versions on the stable branch.

This is not new, KDE enforced a coding rule that was in place since long time, now you can’t have full HTML is many places, only basic styling is allowed.
