System takes too long to boot

hi,
My system seems to take a long period before accessing login screen.
I send you the results of systemd-analyze.

Blockquote
Startup finished in 24.338s (firmware) + 6.093s (loader) + 34.576s (kernel) + 5.536s (userspace) = 1min 10.544s
graphical.target reached after 5.536s in userspace.

Also I cannot reach grub to select the appropriate kernel.
Any tips will be very appreciated.

Probably a hardware issue. The firmware is really slow, but the kernel is struggling with something. Just for comparison, mine loads in 0.6 sec.
And there is no such thing as cannot enter grub - you will have to pump esc or shift keys really quickly for 24 seconds obviously, or enable the menu in /etc/default/grub

Please read how to provide more information (inxi and journal errors would be appropriate) and how to post logs (</> button).

got it;
It is probably related to my pci-express usb card.
I will remove this card and see what behavior I will get.

It is a renesas card which seems problematic.

I provide to you the inxi results :slight_smile:
